Recommended starting points
These are examples from our range. We’ll confirm suitability and terms after reviewing your business.
A straightforward fixed checkout
If your existing till works well, a full EPOS replacement may not be necessary. Explore a Verifone V200c countertop card machine for a fixed payment point. Consider who enters the amount, where the reader sits and whether the terminal should communicate with the till.
Bringing the till and payments together
If you need a broader setup, explore the SUNMI EPOS package or Clover Station Duo. Tell us what you need from the till screen, receipt printer, cash drawer and payment terminal. Sales, stock, barcode and reporting features should be checked against the software and provider configuration before you choose.
Payments around the shop floor
A portable device may help where customers are served away from a fixed till or at more than one payment point. Explore the PAX A920 Pro and Clover Flex. Connectivity, receipt needs and the relationship with your main checkout affect which route is suitable.
Online and remote sales
If your shop also sells through a website, compare the website payment gateway route. For agreed payments made remotely, explore secure payment links. We assess those channels alongside your in-person payments rather than assuming one setup covers every sale.
Questions to resolve before changing provider
- How many checkout points and sites need equipment?
- Which till or stock system do you already use?
- Do you require paper receipts, a scanner or a cash drawer?
- Which reports help reconcile your sales?
- What is your current contract position?

Choosing card machines for retail shops
Which card machine offers the best value for my shop?
Compare the complete cost against your card turnover, average sale value and card mix. A low purchase price or percentage rate does not tell you the whole bill. Also check receipts, till compatibility, settlement timing and contract commitments.
Should I choose a standalone terminal or integrated payments?
If your till works well, a standalone terminal may be sufficient. If staff repeatedly enter the same amount into separate devices, discuss compatible EPOS and integrated card payments. We check the specific software and provider before recommending a change. Compare your current retail payment arrangement.
